IANÄWA is a project of Uttama (Mexico/Colombia) and Aiyana (Lithuania), which interweaves sounds of the earth, medicine songs and various instruments from around the world into a colorful expression of the spirit. Their music and lyrics are allusive to life and its sacredness, inspired by nature and the traditions and rituals of their cultures of origin. Their musical influences range from native songs, Andean music, trance music, to progressive rock.
